Girdwood Area - 3 to 4 hour tour

This area has a maze of trails winding through temperate rainforest.

We can choose a route taking us across the Penguin River up more than 2000 feet to the high alpine meadows of Hidden Valley.

Or travel to a place we call "Sanctuary" where we take a short hike down to a clear water pool with spawning salmon and a spectacular waterfall.  Bear, Moose and Eagles can also be seen in this area depending on the time of year.

Eklutna Lake Area - 5 hour tour

Our Eklutna Trip takes you into the heart of the Chugach Range and begins just 50 minutes north of Anchorage.  

We ride the shoreline of beautiful Eklutna Lake for eight miles.  Then, after crossing the East Fork Bridge, we pass Serenity Waterfall and follow the Eklutna River to the base of the "Mitre" towering more than 5,000 feet above.  

At this point we can take the one mile hike to view Eklutna Glacier or just relax and watch the mountain meadows for the Goats, Sheep and Bear that call this rugged area home.

We can view sheep on the mountainside and feel the tranquility of sea kayaking on the turquoise waters of the lake which is fed from the run-off of Eklutna Glacier.

Due to our short summer season in Alaska, our mid-summer tours fill up fast.  We ride rain or shine.  ALASKA ATV ADVENTURES reserves the right to cancel tours due to problems or complications beyond our control.  If we cancel the tour a full refund will be given.
